Refund policy

The short version

Full refund within 30 days of a payment, for any reason. Email support@appgarden.co.uk from the address you paid on. You do not need to justify it, and there is nothing to return.

The free tier exists so you can try the detection on your own workbooks before paying. If the paid part then turns out not to earn its keep, that is exactly what this window is for.

How to ask

Email support from the address on the purchase, or reply to the receipt Paddle sent you. Include the order or transaction reference from that receipt if you have it — it makes the refund immediate rather than a search.

Refunds are issued by Paddle, the merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Paddle typically settles within a few working days, though your bank may take longer to show it.

Renewals

Both plans are subscriptions. A renewal is refundable on the same terms: within 30 days of that payment, in full.

Cancelling and refunding are separate things. Cancelling stops future payments and leaves the licence running to the end of the period already paid for. A refund ends the licence at the point it is issued, and the add-in drops back to the free tier. Say which you want; if you only say "cancel", nothing is refunded.

To avoid a renewal altogether, cancel before the renewal date shown in the pane under Licence and on your Paddle receipt.

After 30 days

Outside the window there is no automatic right to a refund, but ask anyway if something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a subscription that renewed after you meant to cancel, or a licence that never worked. Those get sorted out regardless of the date.

Your statutory rights

If you bought as a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception to that right, and by starting checkout you agree to immediate delivery of the licence key — so the 30-day policy above is offered in its place and is more generous than the statutory period. Nothing here removes any right you hold under law, including for software that is faulty or not as described.

Undo, whatever happens

Undo is free in every tier and is never withdrawn. Refunding a licence, or cancelling one, does not take away your ability to reverse a fix the add-in applied.
