How to get your Vinted™ sales history for a tax return
Unlike its rivals, Vinted™ offers no "download my sales" button. Sellers needing figures for a tax return must request their account data and extract the sales history themselves. It takes days rather than minutes, so start early.
Request your data
- In Vinted, open Settings → Privacy settings → Manage account data and request your data. (Menu names change from time to time; look under Privacy for your account data.)
- Vinted emails a download link, usually within a few days.
- The download is a ZIP file. Unzip it and open the file holding your sales or wallet history.
Build the sales list by hand
- Copy each sale's date, item, sold price and status into a spreadsheet, one row per sale.
- Record any deductions shown alongside the sale as their own entries, so the sold price and what you kept stay separate facts.
- Sort by date and check for gaps: compare against your own memory of busy months and against your bank deposits.
- Bucket the sales by UK tax year (6 April to 5 April), not by calendar year.
Paste it instead of retyping
