Shared Sheet Guardrails is a Google Workspace™ editor add-on for Google Sheets™, published by AppGarden (appgarden.co.uk). Installing or using it means you accept these terms.

What you are buying

The Free tier is unlimited Check this sheet, every finding, the protection audit, how-to-fix-by-hand steps, Quick protect, Undo last setup and Remove guardrails, with no account and no expiry. The Pro tier adds the full Set up wizard, one-click fixes, Check all tabs, contracts (save, refresh, export, import, apply to similar tabs) and the report tab and CSV, for £29 a year or £4 a month, and covers 3 activations — 3 Google accounts, each able to use the licence across every spreadsheet in that account.

Payment and merchant of record

Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record for all purchases, handles payment processing and tax, and appears on your card or bank statement. AppGarden fulfils the licence; Paddle handles the money.

Refunds

A full refund within 30 days of any payment, for any reason. See the refund policy.

Licence and activations

A Pro licence key activates on up to 3 Google accounts. The licence is for your own use across the spreadsheets you own or can edit; it is not for resale or for issuing sub-licences. Collaborators on a sheet you set up do not need a licence.

What never lapses

Checking, Quick protect, Undo last setup and Remove guardrails are free in every tier and do not lapse if a Pro licence is cancelled or expires. Guardrails already applied are ordinary Google Sheets™ features and stay on your spreadsheets.

What the add-on does and does not do

It checks a Google Sheet™ for broken formulas, inputs that break a column's rules, structural changes and protection problems, explains its findings, and adds or removes the guardrails described in the guide when you ask it to. It does not guarantee to find every problem. Protection in Google Sheets™ is not security: the file's owner can always edit, anyone with edit access can copy the file, and the add-on cannot change that.

Availability and liability

The add-on is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, AppGarden's liability for any claim arising from it is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law says cannot be limited.
